Just some updating and some cool linkage....

Gift of Green's Laundry Line Challenge -
Still time to join in on the fun. Sign up and pledge to hand a certain amount of your summer wash out on the line. Do something good for the environment and let the sun do some of your housework. There are even fun prizes to be had!

So far I rate myself a big ole' F. I went out to hang my laundry the other day and my old line was dry rotted....it snapped in half as I tried to put it up. Mind you I am a shorty and putting up a new line will deffinitly be a task for the hubby. So for now...the washer has been a churning. Not to mention that is has been to cold and windy to hang anythign around these parts. You can watch my progress over in the right hand side bar.

Pop over to this post and read the guidelines and think about signing up for the fun.I am considering entering this time around. I have never had a giveaway before. What do you think? I was considering making and giving away some of my homemade felt bow-tie pasta and raviolis. or I could do a set of story dice...which do you think would be better?

Other Cool New Finds -
So here are just a few things I have seen on other blogs or through my own internet travels that I thought were fun and worth posting.

Asteria Hanover (another Buffalo Gal) posted recently about a hilarious site called Awkward Family Photos. This is some seriously funny stuff. If you are a fan of Cake Wrecks then you must check out this amazing collection of frequently updated awkward family moments captured on film...most of which look like professionaly done sittings. I was crying at my desk yesterday reading through these. As of yesterday the gallery was 11 pages long...all which hold some real treasures.

Crafting for those in need. Currently making baby dolls for children in Nicaragua who currently live in the Casa Bernabe Orphanage. Past project was pillowcase dresses. Site includes links to patterns.

The Knead For Bread - has posted a super cool recipe for making bread shaped cones...that you can stuff with sandwich goodness. Imagine chicken salad, egg salad, and the likes all inside a pretty cone of bread. I think these would be cool for Thanksgiving too!

Yeah, I'm right there with ya. Some laundry on the line yesterday and today, but in general my "results" have been dismal! Do you know how hard it is to pull a grade up from an F! :)
